Lamp, check

By far the easiest project that I’ve undertaken so far, that I can barely call it a project, I just loved the transformation. 

A few months ago, the husband brought home a blue lamp and asked if we could use it in the baby’s room. (All together, “Ahhhh.”)  No real significant story here–it was his, or his aunt’s, I’m not sure.  But, I am sure that I love the color of the lamp–what a fantastic shade of blue!  The shade, however, was horrible.  Here, look for yourself: 

A little trolling around the interwebs, and I found great white drum shades.  I was a little shocked that by the time I factored in shipping, the Pottery Barn shade came in the same as ones at Overstock and Amazon, so thank you, Pottery Barn.  You’ve breathed new life (or is it light?) into this lamp.  Here, see for yourself:
